01/10/2002 far away
i´m still in zürich, still working.
a new project, a theater piece from
the english writer caryl churchill called
"far away". it is a great piece, and it has a lot to do
with the world we are living in at the moment.
we are talking about war like something abstract, at least
for me it feels like that.
i am so confused about everything happening around me
and somethimes i don´t feel like being a part of it.
although i try to keep up whats happening in the world,
i feel alone and helpless with all this information i get.
maybe its because i´m in switzerland, everything seems
so far away here! and thats how i feel far away, in a
disturbing way!!! by miriam fiordeponti,

25/09/2002 I am proud to live where I live!
Last sunday we had elections for the national government of Germany. You an vote for a person from your neigbourhodd directly and you have a second choice for a party. And for the first time in the history of the Green Party, a member of this party was voted directly to the parliament.
His name is Hans Christian Stroebele, he is a left winged pacifist activist and was working as a lawyer for Andreas Baader, one of the head of the german RAF (terror group) when he was in prison at Stuttgart Stammheim. He got around 30 percent of the people here, voting for him. by zebu kluth,

17/09/2002 www.deutschland.de
In Germany you don’t hear a lot from the President but today he was in the news in front of a notebook. He opened a new net presentation of Germany - www.deutschland.de - in five languages.
Sorry, I am sure mandarin is not one of the choosen languages. But I can not proof it tonight, despite the tv-news under the newly announced address they said, we still working to finish DEUTSCHLAND.de.
By the way the name of our President is Mr. Johannes Rau. We call him Brother Johannes, because he liked it to argue from the viewpoint of a active protestant Christian. That is not common for German politicians.
